Zanium (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App") and associated services. By using the Zanium App, you agree to the terms described below.

• IP address, device type, operating system

• App usage patterns and crash logs

• Geolocation (if enabled by user)

• LiDAR/camera-based wound imaging

2. How We Use Your Information

• Deliver and improve Zanium’s features and functionality

• Generate dynamic care plans and AI-assisted documentation

• Calculate risk scores for patient health insights

• Facilitate care coordination and interdisciplinary workflows

• Fulfill regulatory and compliance obligations (e.g., CMS, HIPAA)

• Respond to user inquiries and support requests

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal or health information. We only share data:

• With authorized clinicians and members of the patient’s care team

• With third-party service providers (e.g., hosting, AI analytics, transcription) under strict contractual obligations and signed Business Associate Agreements (BAAs)

• As required by law, regulation, or legal process

• With your explicit consent, for any additional services or integrations

4. Data Security and HIPAA Compliance

Zanium is designed to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We enforce strong data protection practices, including:

• End-to-end encryption of data in transit and at rest

• Role-based access controls and two-factor authentication

• Secure infrastructure hosted with HIPAA-compliant partners, including AWS and OpenAI, under active Business Associate Agreements (BAAs)

• Detailed audit logging, access monitoring, and breach response plans

• Regular vulnerability assessments and HIPAA security reviews

We require all subcontractors and vendors who process Protected Health Information (PHI) to sign and comply with BAAs.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

• Request access to or correction of your information

• Delete or restrict the processing of certain data

• Export your data in a machine-readable format

• Withdraw consent for data sharing where applicable

• Opt out of non-essential communications
